Many "no"s, so not the stereotypical female lead in Korean dramas.
Now lets look at the male lead:
said man who is smart, handsome and popular, seems to have an IQ of 200 and many women hanging around him. has absolutely no interest in these other women, and falls in love with the one and only clumsy, stupid, ugly, outcasted, innocent and pure girl. (CSUOIP girl) can do anything and everything under the sun, from cooking better than chefs working in 5-star hotels to running faster than usain bolt. most handsome man in the show, has girls gushing over him everywhere he goes. (see handsome suit) however, he is cold and aloof and ignores almost everyone. he's usually cold towards CSUOIP girl too. so that the audience will think that he is a meanie. but actually he's a meanie with a warm heart. has an evil mother. comes from a rich family and is going to inherit a family business. stupid matters like arranged marriages to rich ladies, taking over family business, evil mother etc keeps him away from CSUOIP girl.

I think all the "YES"es relating to the evil mother part more than covers for the "no"s, so he's a stereotypical male lead in a Korean drama.

(SBCVG woman) falls in love with the smart, handsome, popular, IQ200, 'many women hang around' man.(SHPIM man) causes problems and misunderstandings between CSUOIP girl and SHPIM man. forces herself on SHPIM man. practices black magic so that whenever she's flirting with SHPIM man, CSUOIP girl will always be 'coincidentally' there and witnesses the scene. Coincidentally (again), whenever such situations occur, SBCVG woman will always make sure that SHPIM man is back-facing CSUOIP so that he doesn't see her.

(blahblah man) falls in love with CSUOIP girl. is very very sweet to her, unlike SHPIM man. but too bad he is always pangseh-ed by CSUOIP girl and loses to SHPIM man in many aspects despite having similar qualities. CSUOIP girl pangsehs him till the end and chooses to be with SHPIM man. then he very sad and emo. sobsob. oh and one thing very puzzling about this blahblah man is... no other woman in the show ever falls in love with him, despite him being so perfect.

Don't bother counting the yes and the nos, for the fact that he's an uncle, he is not fit to be the stereotypical Korean drama second male lead cos they have to be hot and handsome and YOUNG.
After much discussion, I'm proud to arrive at the conclusion that Secret Garden is special, not your typical Korean drama - no wonder I liked it so much :D:D:D
